Design Brief: The existing design of the blades used to shred the leaves had the issue of becoming loose with time. A better version would be better secure, easier to assemble and disassemble, this also meant a design that did not require screws as that will be damaged by the cleaning system. Injection molding would also need to be considered in the new design.

Solution: The latest iteration uses one less magnet and is easier to be disassembled with a tool. It uses a twist to lock system that helps it keep it securely mounted. It also has feature that will facilitate the creation of a mold and minimize undercut.
